Georgetown McDonough executive degree programs prepare professionals to lead in an increasingly competitive global marketplace. Students embark on a transformational educational journey that prepares them for success anywhere in the world.

The Georgetown McDonough Executive Master’s in Leadership program helps professionals advance their leadership skills and gain a deeper understanding of management strategy in a global context.

As members of the Georgetown McDonough community, EML students benefit from a valuable network of peers, professors, professionals, and alumni around the world. In the classroom, expert faculty deliver instruction with an emphasis on global business and its impact on the way leaders plan and shape organizational strategy.

Students also participate in a global residency, a signature Georgetown McDonough experience that gives them the opportunity to implement concepts learned in the classroom in a foreign location.

These global residencies begin on campus with lectures and discussions that produce a better understanding of the history, culture, and leadership challenges at the site of the international residency. In addition, students begin working on a leadership-focused consulting project for a client in the host country. In recent years, EML students have traveled to Cape Town, South Africa. The experience culminates in a one-week, international residency where student teams present recommendations to teh client and participate in academic and cultural experiences.
