On September 17, 2015, in partnership with The Financial Times, the center hosted its annual financial markets quality conference which brought together policymakers, market participants, and scholars to discuss critical issues related to financial market quality and propose solutions for the future.
On September 18 2015, the Center for Financial Markets and Policy at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, in partnership with the Milken Institute, hosted its third-quarter Capitol Hill briefing on “Incremental Steps for a Safer Housing Finance System.”
On September 16, 2014, the Georgetown Center for Financial Markets and Policy hosted a conference in partnership with the Financial Times on financial markets quality at the McDonough School of Business in Washington, DC. The conference addressed numerous questions about the quality of financial markets which have been brought to the forefront by recent events. Policymakers, market participants, and scholars discussed critical issues related to financial markets quality and proposed solutions for the future.
