Terrence A. Duffy serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CME Group, the world’s leading derivatives marketplace.
Duffy has led the company for more than two decades, since being named Chairman of the Board in 2002. He oversaw the company’s initial public offering at that time and became Executive Chairman in 2006. He spearheaded the historic merger of the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 2007 before overseeing the acquisition of the New York Mercantile Exchange in 2008.
Duffy was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in November 2016. In 2018, he led the acquisition of NEX, streamlining trading across futures, options, cash and OTC markets. His landmark 2021 partnership with Google Cloud is bringing expanded access, new products and greater efficiencies to derivatives markets through cloud technology. His groundbreaking 2025 partnership with FanDuel also expands the reach of CME Group benchmark products to a new audience of millions of potential U.S. traders.
Duffy has been a CME member since 1981 and a Board member since 1995. He served as Vice Chairman of the Board from 1998 - 2002.
Duffy is a leading voice in the financial industry, regularly testifying before Congress on key issues facing derivatives markets and CME Group clients. He has been named FOW’s International CEO of the Year, one of TabbFORUM’s 40 Innovators in Financial Markets, a member of the Futures Industry Association's Hall of Fame and included in Crain’s Who’s Who in Chicago Business. Under his leadership, CME Group has received a wide range of industry awards recognizing the company, clearing house, technology and overall product innovation.
Duffy was appointed by President Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2003 to join the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB), a position he held until 2013.
He serves as Co-Chair of the Mayo Clinic Greater Chicago Leadership Council and is a Board member of the CME Group Foundation.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and received a Doctor of Public Service, honoris causa, from Saint Xavier University and a Doctor of Humane Letters from DePaul University.

Mary Callahan Erdoes is Chief Executive Officer of JPMorganChase's Asset & Wealth Management line of business – one of the largest and most respected investment managers and private banks in the world, with more than $7 trillion in client assets and a 200-year-old legacy as a trusted fiduciary to corporations, governments, institutions and individuals. Since joining the firm 30 years ago, Erdoes has held senior roles across Asset & Wealth Management before becoming its CEO in 2009 and joining the JPMorganChase Operating Committee, the firm’s most senior management team.
Erdoes earned her undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Georgetown University. She serves on the Global Advisory Council of Harvard University, where she earned her MBA, the board of Harvard Management Company, and the U.S.-China Business Council.

Bill Hagerty

Senator Bill Hagerty Biography United States Senator Bill Hagerty was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2020 and is currently serving his first term representing the state of Tennessee. His committee assignments include: U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, & Urban Affairs; U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations; U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations; and the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules & Administration.
Prior to his election to the U.S. Senate, Hagerty served as the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, the world’s third largest economy and America’s closest ally in the region. Hagerty is a life-long businessman. He started his business career with the Boston Consulting Group, where his work took him to five continents, including three years based in Tokyo, Japan. He later became a venture capital and private equity investor where he invested in and served as an executive and board member of a wide range of companies, including ones listed on the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ. From 2011 to 2014, Hagerty took leave from his business career to serve as a member of the Governor’s Cabinet and Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. During his tenure as commissioner, Hagerty reorganized the department, eliminating over 40 percent of the positions and saving millions of taxpayer dollars. At the same time, the new approach helped spur the strongest economic transformation seen — taking Tennessee from an unemployment rate higher than the national average when he arrived to become the number one state in the nation for jobs created through foreign investment and being named State of the Year for Economic Development an unprecedented two years in a row during his tenure. Hagerty, an Eagle Scout, is originally from Sumner County, Tennessee.
Today, he and his wife Chrissy are both active volunteers in several community and civic organizations, and live in Davidson County, Tennessee. They are the parents of four children.
Dr. Hassett serves as the 15th Director of the National Economic Council, playing a central role in advancing President Trump’s economic agenda, and coordinating domestic and international economic policy across the federal government. Prior to this appointment, he was the Brent R. Nicklas Distinguished Fellow in Economics at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and Managing Director at the Milken Institute. He also served as the 29th Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers (2017-2019) and returned to the White House in 2020 to serve as Senior Advisor to the President of the United States.
Earlier in his career, he was Director of Research for Domestic Policy at the American Enterprise Institute, taught at Columbia Business School and the NYU School of Law, and was a Senior Economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. He also served as a Senior Economic Adviser on campaigns for John McCain, George W. Bush, and Mitt Romney.
He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics from Swarthmore College.
He became CEO in 2023 and previously served as the company’s president since 2008.
Hult has played a pivotal role in Tradeweb’s evolution as a leading global operator of electronic marketplaces for rates, credit, equities and money markets. He has led the development of numerous innovations connecting liquidity providers and investors across retail, wholesale and institutional markets.
Dan Katz
First Deputy Managing Director, IMF
Dan Katz has been the IMF’s First Deputy Managing Director since October 2025. In that role, he leads the Fund’s work on multilateral surveillance and related policies, including on monetary policy, financial markets, debt, and international economic integration. He also oversees bilateral surveillance for many global systemically important economies and large lending programs and represents the Fund at multilateral fora like the G7 and G20.
Mr. Katz most recently served as Chief of Staff at the United States Department of the Treasury. He was the principal advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury on a wide range of domestic and international matters, including on some of the most consequential international economic issues involving the United States.
Mr. Katz has a long association with Treasury that stretches over more than a decade, including roles as a Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary for International Affairs, Counselor to the Assistant Secretary for International Markets, and a policy advisor in the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence.
In addition to his work at Treasury, Mr. Katz spent several years in the private sector, where he worked at a global macro hedge fund, and as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. He was also a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute focusing on central banking, international economic issues, and economic statecraft, and served as an advisor to the Commander of U.S. forces in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Tyler Williams
Senior Advisor Global Regulatory, Hogan Lovells Cadwalader
Tyler Williams advises clients on the policy, regulatory, licensing and compliance, and legislative issues shaping the financial services and digital asset sectors. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience across government, private practice, and industry, he helps clients navigate complex matters involving digital assets, blockchain technology, BSA/AML, sanctions, banking, capital markets, payments, insurance, housing finance, and securities regulation.
Tyler brings extensive experience at the intersection of financial regulation, public policy, and business. Most recently, he served as Counselor to the Secretary for Digital Assets at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, advising the Secretary on digital asset and blockchain technology policy. In that role, he helped secure the landmark GENIUS Act into law and oversaw its implementation at the Treasury Department. Tyler also served as the principal architect for the White House report on Strengthening American Leadership in Digital Financial Technology. Tyler has worked closely with stakeholders across the federal government, including the White House, National Economic Council, SEC, CFTC, banking regulators, and Congress, to advance a coherent regulatory framework for the responsible growth of the digital asset industry in the United States and internationally.
Before his most recent government service, Tyler served as Global Head of Policy at Galaxy Digital and was a member of the firm's legal team. He previously operated a financial services consulting practice in Washington, D.C., advising financial services companies and corporate leadership on banking, housing finance, and digital asset matters, and served as a Senior Advisor at FS Vector. He also advised Governor Glenn Youngkin's gubernatorial campaign on financial services policy. Earlier in his career, Tyler spent nearly a decade in public service, including as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions Policy at the Treasury Department and Banking Counsel to Senator Thom Tillis.
Patrick Witt
Executive Director, President's Council of Advisors for Digital Assets
Mr. Patrick Witt is the Executive Director of the President’s Council of Advisors for Digital Assets at the White House. In this role, he leads efforts to develop and coordinate national policy on digital asset innovation, regulation, and emerging financial technologies. Mr. Witt also serves as Acting Director of the Office of Strategic Capital within the Department of Defense (DoD), where he directs $200 billion of investment into the US military’s defense industrial base. From January until May 2025, Mr. Witt performed the duties of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, overseeing the entire defense science and technology enterprise, including DARPA, to drive technological innovation and digital transformation across the DoD. During President Trump’s first administration, Mr. Witt served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, where he helped lead workforce management for millions of federal employees, retirees, and their dependents. After leaving government service, he engaged in various entrepreneurial ventures and served as Managing Director for a lower-middle-market private equity firm. Earlier in his career, he worked for McKinsey & Company, where he advised aviation, aerospace, and defense clients across four continents on a wide range of issues. A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, Mr. Witt received numerous academic accolades, including the Francis Gordon Brown Prize, a distinction shared by former President George H.W. Bush, and was also a finalist for the Campbell Trophy, Rhodes, and Mitchell Scholarships. In addition to his academic achievements, he excelled as a student-athlete, shattering numerous school records. At the conclusion of his collegiate career, Mr. Witt was invited to participate in the NFL Combine and later signed as a free agent with the New Orleans Saints. Mr. Witt is a proud uncle to Joan, Kirby, Grace, and Charlie. He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a member of the State Bar. He is fluent in French.
Rostin Behnam served as the chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission after serving as both acting chairman and a commissioner from 2017 through 2025.
As chairman of the agency, Commissioner Behnam focused on transitioning the CFTC from the rule-writing era that dominated the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act to an agency that moves in lockstep within its mandate to address the issues presented by the rapidly evolving derivatives markets. With technology as a predominant driver of change, he has worked to implement rules and dedicate resources to enhance risk management and resilience, strengthen customer protections, promote efficiency and innovation, improve reporting and data policy, and promote international comity.
Cohen is a member of the firm’s Global Executive
Committee. She works with stakeholders across the capital markets ecosystem, including
investors, academics, market makers, trading venues, and service providers. In
partnership with Global Corporate Affairs, Global Product Solutions, BlackRock Global
Markets & Index Investments, and Digital Assets, she is focused on advancing market
structure priorities on behalf of investors.
David Chubak

David Chubak is currently head of Wealth Management and Field Management guiding the firm's ambition to serve more clients more completely through deep personal relationships and comprehensive planning and advice leading business-building efforts to meet the evolving and unique needs of Edward Jones' clients, while delivering greater value for its branch teams to better serve clients and communities in North America. David joined Edward Jones in March 2022 as head of Branch Development and the U.S. Business Unit.
David serves on the firm's Enterprise Leadership Team, which is responsible for providing advice and counsel to the managing partner to help the firm grow its impact and create value for clients, colleagues and communities -- today and into the future. David also co-chairs the firm’s Operating Committee along with the firm's Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining Edward Jones, David spent nearly a decade at Citigroup, most recently as CEO of Citi's Retail Bank, where he led the branch network, wealth management, mortgage and small business, and later the partner credit card and payments business along with product management, segments and risk management. David first joined Citi in April 2013 as the global head of productivity, working for Citi's CEO to lead a strategic transformation and deliver against its public targets.
David began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner in the firm's New York office and a leader in the Global Banking and Real Estate practices. At McKinsey, David helped some of the world's leading global institutions on matters of strategy, operations, organization, digitization and sustainability.
David earned a bachelor's with honors from Columbia University and a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2006.
David lives in New York, N.Y., with his wife, Jamie, and four children. He serves his community as a board member at City Harvest and as chair of the American Heart Association of New York. In his free time, he enjoys running, tennis and flying as a private pilot.
Previously, Farley served as CEO, president, and chair of Far Peak Acquisition Corporation and Far Point Acquisition Corporation. He also serves as chair of Global Blue Group Holding AG (NYSE: GB). Farley brings many years of executive leadership in the finance industry, including serving as president of the NYSE Group of Intercontinental Exchange Inc., or ICE, from 2014 to 2018. Farley led all operations for the NYSE and managed a diverse range of equity and equity options exchanges, comprising the largest equities listing and securities trading venue in the world. In this role, Farley spearheaded the NYSE through a significant strategic and operational transition, revitalizing an iconic business and brand.
Amanda Fischer

Amanda Fischer is the Policy Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Better Markets. Fischer will oversee the organization’s policy program areas, leading Better Markets’ team of policy experts. With a deep expertise in financial regulation, public policy, and strategic leadership, Fischer is committed to achieving our mission of promoting economic security, opportunity, and prosperity for all Americans.
Before joining Better Markets, Fischer served as the Chief of Staff & Senior Counselor to the Chair of the SEC for the last four years. In those roles, she advised the Chair on agency operations, budgeting, and policy strategy while managing crisis response to major market events and geopolitical developments. Fischer also led engagement with top government officials, industry executives, and international regulatory bodies. Previously, Fischer was the Policy Director at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, where she led a team of economists and policy researchers to develop policy recommendations. Her prior experience includes being Chief of Staff to a member of the House and Policy Advisor to a Senator as well as serving for more than eight years as Deputy Staff Director of the House Financial Services Committee and as a Policy Advisor to the Senate Banking Committee.

Hope Jarkowski
Chief Legal Officer, Broadridge
Hope Jarkowski joined Broadridge as Chief Legal Officer in May 2024. She oversees the company’s legal, compliance, regulatory, and government affairs functions and serves as the primary legal advisor to senior management and the Board of Directors. Hope is an established leader with strong expertise in securities regulation, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Broadridge, she served as General Counsel at the New York Stock Exchange, where she provided legal counsel and regulatory strategy advice across the NYSE’s business segments. She also served as Head of Equities for the NYSE and as co-head of Regulatory Affairs for NYSE’s parent, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. Hope has held leadership roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, and prior to her government service, she practiced securities law at both a Fortune 100 law firm and FINRA.
Ken Kencel

Ken is the President and CEO of Churchill Asset Management, an affiliate of Nuveen. He also serves as Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Nuveen Churchill Direct Lending Corp. (NYSE: NCDL) and Nuveen Churchill Private Capital Income Fund (PCAP), Churchill’s publicly registered business development companies. Additionally, Ken is Chairman of Churchill’s Executive Committee and a member of the Senior Lending Investment Committee.
Previously, Ken served as a Managing Director of The Carlyle Group, where he also served as President and a Director of Carlyle Secured Lending, Inc. (Carlyle’s publicly traded business development company). Prior to that he founded and was President and CEO of Churchill Financial Group, served as Head of Leveraged Finance for Royal Bank of Canada and was Head of Indosuez Capital. Ken was also a founder of the high yield finance business at Chase Securities (now JP Morgan Chase). He began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert. In 2023, Ken was named by Private Debt Investor as “One of the 30 ChangeMakers” who helped shape the industry over the past decade. And in 2025, Ken was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award by The M&A Advisor and inducted into their Hall of Fame.
Ken graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University and a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. He serves on the Pension Investment Advisory Committee for the Archdiocese of New York, the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Canisius High School, the Advisory Board of Teach for America (Connecticut), and the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism Executive Council.
Andrew Kroculick
Chief Operating Officer, Nasdaq Private Markets
Andrew Kroculick serves as Chief Operating Officer at Nasdaq Private Market (NPM), where he leads the firm’s operations teams and oversees the Settlement and WealthConnect (Wealth, Tax, and Workplace Solutions) businesses. Most recently, he led NPM's $37.6M Series C funding round and was named an inventor on a US patent for settling private company securities via the company's proprietary settlement engine. He joined NPM in 2017 and has since been a steady force in scaling operations, enhancing client experience, and releasing new products and offerings. A key architect of NPM’s spinout from Nasdaq in 2021, Andrew continues to steer the transformation of mission-critical capabilities across the organization. Before joining NPM, he spent several years at Nasdaq, Inc. as a Senior Director in corporate strategy, and before that was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting LLP. Andrew holds a B.B.A. in Finance from George Washington University and an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
Frank joined DTCC in June 2022 following a 28-year career at BNY, where he held several senior-level positions, including most recently as CEO of its Issuer Services business and a member of the BNY Executive Committee, the senior-most leadership committee at the firm. Earlier in his tenure, he served as CEO of BNY’s Alternative Investment Services and Structured Products business and was a member of the Executive Committee of Pershing LLC, where he was Co-Head of Global Client Relationships and Head of Trading Services. Frank also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of BNY Clearing Services LLC.
Patricia Luscombe
Managing Director & Global Co-Head of Valuations & Opinions, Lincoln
Patricia co-heads the firm’s global Valuations and Opinions Group. Patricia provides valuation and transaction opinion services to public and private investment funds. She has 30 years of experience advising portfolio companies of private equity firms and providing them with valuations and fairness opinions for divestitures, recapitalizations and intra-fund transfers. Patricia works with many investment funds, including business development companies, credit opportunity funds, private equity funds and hedge funds, to value illiquid assets for fair value accounting purposes. Prior to joining Lincoln, Patricia was a Managing Director for Duff & Phelps, where she was a leader in its valuations and fairness opinions practice. Previously, she was an Associate at Smith Barney, where she managed a variety of financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and equity and debt financings.
Patricia earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, a Master of Science in economics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Stanford University. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Alpa Patel
Partner, Kirkland & Ellis
Alpa Patel is a partner in the Investment Funds Regulatory Solutions Practice Group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington, D.C. Her practice focuses on counseling U.S. and non-U.S. investment advisers and family offices on a broad range of compliance, regulatory, and legal matters affecting private funds. Widely regarded as a leading regulatory lawyer, Alpa has been ranked by Chambers for years, including her 2026 selection for Band 1 in Chambers USA. She counsels some of the most complex and sophisticated asset management firms on issues related to the registration, structure, and operations of their advisory businesses and navigating complex SEC compliance examinations and enforcement investigations. She provides counsel to all types of investment advisers and their vehicles, including private equity funds, venture capital funds, credit funds, hedge funds, and real estate funds. She also routinely counsels private fund sponsors on strategic transactions such as minority investments and other liquidity events.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Alpa served as Branch Chief of the Private Funds Branch of the Investment Adviser Regulation Office in the SEC’s Division of Investment Management in Washington, D.C. In that role, she helped develop various rule proposals under the Advisers Act and provided technical assistance on the interpretation and application of the Advisers Act rules to all types of registered investment advisers. As head of the Private Funds Branch in the Division of Investment Management, she was a key adviser on all private fund-related projects and priorities across the SEC. She regularly consulted with the Division of Examinations and the Division of Enforcement on interpretive matters regarding the application of the securities laws to private fund advisers, as well as market practices in the private equity and hedge fund industries. She also represented the SEC on various interagency projects with the Department of Treasury, the Federal Reserve Board, and other agencies regarding policy matters which had implications for asset managers and the private fund industry in particular.

Brian Quintenz

Brian D. Quintenz is a Board Chairman, Director, investor, and advisor to the world’s most innovative financial technology companies. He has long stood out as an innovative thinker and was one of the earliest leaders in Washington to recognize the value of event contracts and crypto networks. Since 2021, Quintenz has been a Board member of KalshiEx, the CFTC-regulated futures exchange of Kalshi. He also currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Next Level Derivatives, a Board Director of publicly traded Sui Group (SUIG), and an advisor to Ubyx. Previously, Quintenz was the Global Head of Policy for a16z crypto, the crypto venture fund of Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). Prior to joining a16z, he was nominated by President Trump in 2017 to serve as majority commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), to which he was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate, and served for four years until stepping down in August of 2021.
Liam Smith started his career in the derivatives industry over 16 years ago with CME Group. Today he serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for Optiver, a leading global market making and CME self-clearing firm, overseeing the strategic direction of the firm in the US & UK. In this role, he has a mandate to lead market structure initiatives, business development, regulatory affairs, external partnerships, clearing, strategic investments, and execution services for US markets. Additionally, he is the chair of Optiver’s political action committee (PAC) and has co-authored a number of influential white papers on market structure issues across futures and securities markets.

Mark T. Uyeda was sworn into office as a Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on June 30, 2022, after being confirmed by the U.S. Senate. He was sworn in for a second term as Commissioner on December 28, 2023, after being confirmed by the U.S. Senate for a five-year term expiring in 2028. He serves as vice chairman of the board for the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and also as vice chairman of the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD) Corporate Governance Committee.
Prior to becoming Commissioner, he served as an SEC detailee to both the legislative and executive branches, most recently as securities counsel to Ranking Member Pat Toomey on the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. Commissioner Uyeda also served on detail as a policy advisor to senior leadership at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in 2017-2018 and the U.S. Department of Labor in 2020. Commissioner Uyeda has been with the SEC since 2006, serving as Senior Advisor to Chairman Jay Clayton, Counsel to Commissioners Michael S. Piwowar and Paul S. Atkins, and Assistant Director and Senior Special Counsel in the Division of Investment Management.
Before joining the SEC, Commissioner Uyeda served as Chief Advisor to the California Corporations Commissioner (now known as the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation), the state’s securities regulator, having been appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2004. Earlier in his career, he worked as a corporate and securities attorney at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart (now K&L Gates) in Washington, D.C. and O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles.
Commissioner Uyeda earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Georgetown University in 1992 and his law degree with honors from Duke University in 1995. He is the first Asian-Pacific American to serve as a Commissioner at the SEC.
