Undergraduate Stock Pitch Competition Details

Georgetown students are invited to participate in the annual Undergraduate Stock Pitch Competition for a chance to win a cash prize of $2,500.

The 2026 Undergraduate Stock Pitch Competition will take place on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. in Hariri 350. Students who participate in the competition have an opportunity to win a cash prize of $2,500.

 

As a participant in the Georgetown Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy Undergraduate Stock Pitch Competition, students have the opportunity to:

  • Engage in an immersive learning experience
  • Demonstrate investing skills to industry professionals
  • Practice aspects of investing such as industry analysis, strategy building, risk management, diversification, teamwork, communication, etc.
  • Enhance their resume

Pitch Details

  • Pitches should be long-term buy recommendations on equities greater than $500 million in market capitalization
  • First round teams submit their stock pitch proposal of no more than two pages by 5 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026
  • Proposals should be emailed to cfmp@georgetown.edu
  • Those selected for the final round will have eight minutes to present their stock pitches on Friday, February 20, 2026
  • Submit investment case deliverables in support of a long‐term public equity investment
  • Recommendations should be grounded in high-quality, fundamental research
  • The company under review must have a market capitalization of at least $500 million and can be based either in the United States or internationally
  • The pitch must include an investment thesis, a description of the business, and a review of competitive dynamics, management quality, valuation, and risks
  • Submissions must be from current Georgetown undergraduate students
  • Teams can include up to four participants

February 2: Finalist Notifications

February 19: Final Presentation Slide Decks Due
