Stella Millspaugh (B’27) is from a small town in southern Indiana called North Vernon. She is a student at the McDonough School of Business, majoring in finance and accounting with a minor in entrepreneurship. She is particularly interested in real estate or venture capital as potential career paths. On campus, Millspaugh is an analyst in the Georgetown University Public Real Estate Fund, a student-run organization that invests in publicly traded REITS and CMBS as part of the Steers Center for Global Real Estate. She is also a consultant for Georgetown Ventures, a student-run start-up accelerator. Outside of school, Millspaugh enjoys bodybuilding, training others on their fitness journeys, reading, hiking, CrossFit, and traveling. According to Millspaugh, obtaining new perspectives and understanding how the political and financial landscapes change and adapt is pivotal to understanding the world we live in and the fields that she intends to pursue. Learning from experts who hold valuable perspectives in these fields and building a strong network is an incredible opportunity that she believes will enhance her success in the business world. Millspaugh aspires to grow in her financial literacy, understand current events from a political and financial lens, and learn adequate composure around impactful people.
