Rohan Mistry is a junior at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business studying Finance and Operations & Analytics with a minor in Statistics. On campus, he is involved as the Chief Consulting Officer for Hoyalytics, a student-run data analytics consulting organization, and a senior analyst in the Georgetown University Student Investment Fund (GUSIF). He is also involved in Georgetown’s Hindu Student Association, South Asian Society, and Rangila. Professionally, Rohan has a deep interest in the intersection of finance and public policy, with professional experience at Patomak Global Partners and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Rohan is originally from Albany, New York.

Rohan has been involved with Georgetown University’s Psaros Center since his freshman year, first serving as a volunteer at the annual Financial Markets Quality (FMQ) Conference. Since then, he has taken on a leadership role in helping plan and organize the event. Additionally, Rohan serves as a student researcher for the Psaros Center, publishing white papers regarding AI and financial regulation, digitization of assets, cyber risk and SEC regulations, and credit reporting and consumer stress. Through this year’s FinPolicy Trek, Rohan hopes to deepen his understanding of capital markets, cryptocurrency, and nonbank institutions while gaining insight into how regulatory and market participants navigate evolving frameworks and emerging challenges.
