Olivia Zhao (B’27) is a student at the McDonough School of Business looking to study business and global affairs or operations and analytics with a minor in statistics. Zhao is primarily interested in macroeconomics, comparative politics, and international political economy and development. As such, she was interested in the FinPolicy Trek to better understand how real actors, private or public, engage with markets and create the conditions that we later study. Outside of academics, Zhao is involved in Product Space, a product management club, and writes for Georgetown’s arts and culture magazine, the Georgetown Independent.
