Isabella Terry is a student at the School of Foreign Service, pursuing a degree in Global Business with a German minor. She grew up in a suburb outside of Chicago with her two older brothers. Outside of her studies, Isabella volunteers weekly for Hoya Taxa, a campus group that helps underserved individuals in the D.C. community file taxes and improve financial literacy. She has also written for The Hoya and The Free Speech Project. Last summer, Isabella interned at Alexandria start-up Allen Control Systems, which focuses on developing artificial intelligence defense capabilities. In this role, she increasingly observed how businesses work with the government sector and has recently begun research within the Psaros Center to further learn about this intersection. As a FinPolicy Trek Scholar, Isabella is extremely interested in better understanding the day-to-day engagement between policymakers, firms, and financial markets.
