Daniela Guadana Huizar is a junior at Georgetown University, majoring in Sociology with minors in Business Studies and Education, Inquiry, and Justice. As a first-generation Latina, she is passionate about economic equity, corporate accountability, and the role of financial policy in shaping long-term systematic change. Through her academic coursework and leadership experiences, Daniela has developed a strong interest in how financial regulations and market participation influence economic mobility and opportunity for underserved communities. Daniela is excited to participate in the FinPolicy Trek to gain firsthand insight into how financial policymakers and industry leaders collaborate to shape economic systems. She hopes to leverage this experience to better understand how financial markets can be used to drive equitable economic growth and to connect with professionals who can help guide her career exploration in this space.
