Cailyn Min is a first-year in the College of Arts & Sciences pursuing a double major in mathematics and economics. She is originally from Tenafly, New Jersey, and has a background in international debate from her time on the USA’s national debate team. On campus, she is an analyst at the Georgetown University Student Investment Fund, a consultant at Hilltop Consultants, a research assistant at the Mortara Center, and competes regularly with Georgetown Parliamentary Debate.

As a FinPolicy Trek Scholar, Min is excited to explore the intersection of policy and finance, as well as how macro financial policy decisions impact firms, households, and communities. She is also interested in applying quantitative and data-driven methods to analyze market trends. Outside of finance, she is interested in development economics and game theory, and enjoys reading, trying out new cafes in DC, and visiting Georgetown’s waterfront.
