Anvitha Reddy (SFS’26) is a student at the Walsh School of Foreign Service, studying international economics. She is interested in learning how domestic financial markets respond and interact with international market dynamics, particularly within international development and trade. Reddy was especially interested in the FinPolicy Trek due to its exposure to regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, policy decisions constructed by federal agencies, and how market participants react to them. She is currently an intern at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of International Development Policy. Reddy also has worked with several local economic development organizations as an intern with the National Community Reinvestment Coalition during the summer of 2023 and is currently at the Hilltop Microfinance Initiative at Georgetown. On campus, she serves on the steering committee of the 23rd Carroll Round Economics Research Conference and is a tour guide for the Blue & Gray Tour Guide Society.
