The 2026 Undergraduate Stock Pitch Competition, hosted by the Georgetown Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy, once again showcased the analytical rigor, preparation, and intellectual curiosity of Georgetown University’s undergraduate investing community.

Six finalist teams advanced to the final round, each presenting a differentiated and well-supported investment thesis. This year’s pitches spanned a diverse range of industries and themes, including artificial intelligence, digital platforms, aviation, global e-commerce, financial data, and advanced electronics. Companies analyzed included Dynatrace, Mercado Libre, FTAI Aviation, Roblox, Moody’s, and Amphenol.

Each team delivered a thoughtfully constructed pitch backed by detailed financial modeling, careful risk analysis, and clearly defined catalysts. Beyond presenting strong businesses, students were challenged to articulate why those businesses represented compelling stock investments at current valuations, demonstrating an understanding of market expectations, adoption trends, margin dynamics, and timing.

Throughout the event, teams fielded rigorous, real-time questions from a distinguished panel of judges:

  • Thomas Bianco (B’77), managing director, Castle Hill
  • Cameron Deen (B’21), investment banking associate, Goldman Sachs
  • Estelle Ith, associate director, Investment Office of Georgetown University

The Q&A sessions pushed students to defend their assumptions, quantify downside risk, and respond thoughtfully under pressure. This serves as an invaluable experiential learning opportunity and a hallmark of the competition’s rigor.

Congratulations to this year’s winners – Glenn Lee (SFS’27), Lindsay Lee (BGA’27), Vittorio Montresoro (B’28), and Alex Pollock (BGA’27) – for their outstanding performance and analytical excellence as they pitched Moody’s to the judges.

Reflecting on the experience, Montresoro shared, “The event was an amazing opportunity to hear other students’ investment ideas and get feedback on our own idea from industry experts. Thank you so much to the Psaros Center for organizing the stock pitch. We look forward to this continuing to be a great tradition for Georgetown students interested in investing!”

Glenn Lee added, “It was valuable to receive constructive feedback from the judges, particularly on the distinction between analyzing a great business versus identifying a great stock investment. I also appreciated hearing the other students’ pitches and learning how they approached evaluating stocks.”

The competition continues to serve as a cornerstone experience for students interested in financial markets, blending technical analysis with professional mentorship and reinforcing Georgetown’s commitment to experiential learning in investing.
