The competition featured three finalist teams (T-Mobile: Parth Sharma & Rashmi Shastry; Novo Nordisk: Yuchen Yang, Gabriel Porras, Vikram Allada & Jacob Crocker; Nike: Francisco Fuentes & Mateo Rosell), each selected by the GIF board.
They each had 20 minutes to present and defend their investment idea, which focused on long-only, U.S.-based publicly traded stocks with a market capitalization over $500 million, and an expected holding period of 1 to 3 years.
A distinguished panel of judges evaluated the pitches, including Tom Bianco (B’77) of Bianco Management, Alisa Guyer Galperin (MBA’04) of Norges Bank Investment Management, Sean Kumar (MBA’19) of Humbucker Management, and Noelle Verity (B’91) of State Street LLC.
Following the competition, a networking reception was held to celebrate the winning pitch from Team Nike and recognize the other presentations made by the finalists.
