Aniya Jain is a freshman in the McDonough School of Business, originally from Dallas, Texas. She plans to major in finance and accounting with a minor in economics. On campus, Jain is involved with the Zeeba Investment Group, where she serves as an analyst on the Asia-Pacific desk. She is also a client services representative for the Hilltop Microfinance Initiative, supporting small businesses across the DMV region through community-based lending and financial education. In addition, she contributes to Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service as part of the student-run podcast, The Fly.
Jain is particularly interested in new and evolving areas of finance, including prediction markets and decentralized finance platforms. She’s curious about how regulators are responding to these innovations and how policy shapes the future of these markets. More broadly, she’s excited about the potential for financial technology to expand access to capital, increase economic mobility, and support growth in emerging international markets. Through the FinPolicy Trek, Jain hopes to explore these interests further and learn from leaders in both the public and private sectors.
