Caleb Cole is a freshman in the McDonough School of Business studying majors in finance and accounting and a minor in Spanish. He is originally from just outside of Denver, Colorado. He loves to bake, stroll through art museums, and travel. At Georgetown, Cole is involved with Hilltop Consultants, the Blue and Gray Tour Guide Society, the Hilltop Microfinance Initiative, and HoyAlyics.
Academically, he is particularly interested in the intersection of financial reporting and regulation. His research examines discretionary accounting practices and earnings management, exploring how managerial incentives shape reported performance and how those choices affect market perceptions. He is also interning with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he gains exposure to legal and regulatory frameworks that govern financial institutions and corporate conduct.
