Congratulations to Professor and Psaros Center Faculty Associate Shin’ichiro Matsuo on his appointment to Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) Council on Crypto Asset Systems Working Group. In this role, he will contribute directly to the development of upcoming legislative updates in Japan’s crypto asset framework.
We are also pleased to share that two papers co-authored by Professor Matsuo, “Block Hijacking Attack: Impact Evaluation on Liquid Network and Design Insights for Blockchain-based Scaling Solutions” and “Biometrics Enhances Blockchain Wallet Governance” were accepted and presented at IEEE’s International Conference on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. “Biometrics Enhances Blockchain Wallet Governance” was recognized as a Best Paper Award Candidate.
