Monty Singer (B’26) is a student at the McDonough School of Business majoring in finance and minoring in biology. Starting to invest at age 12, Singer has had a lifelong passion for finance. On campus, he is a member of the intercollegiate investment club, Global Platinum Securities, where he collaborates weekly with students from eight schools to invest the club’s $400,000 fund. Additionally, he serves as the director of member education for Georgetown’s student-run startup accelerator where he leads new members on a 10-week curriculum covering customer discovery, MVP testing, customer acquisition, and more. Last summer, he interned at Sustany Capital, a blockchain-focused venture capital fund in California, where he collaborated with the managing partner on a variety of projects including a data center build-out. Singer is interested in entrepreneurship, decentralized finance, and public policy.
