5:00 PM-7:00 PM EST Fisher Colloquium, Rafik B. Hariri Building

Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to exploring how food can drive global change. Hosted by The Earth Commons—Georgetown University’s Institute for Environment & Sustainability—and the Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, this event will feature a special discussion with Sam Bakhshandehpour, the new CEO of the José Andrés Group.

The José Andrés Group, the company behind José Andrés’ restaurants, has a singular mission: To Change the World Through the Power of Food. Every endeavor is driven by the importance they place on this driving purpose, alongside their core values of authenticity, innovation, passion, service, profitability, and philanthropy.

“From hunger and poverty to climate change, are immense in scale and require a response to match them,” says José Andrés.

The discussion, moderated by Pete Marra, Dean of the Earth Commons, and Reena Aggarwal, Director of the Georgetown Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy, and MSB Faculty, will take place from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Following the discussion, we invite you to join us for a reception.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to engage with thought leaders and innovators who are changing the world.
