The Georgetown McDonough MBA Program celebrated the end of the academic year with its traditional barbecue on April 28. Full-time and Evening Program MBA students, faculty, and staff joined Senior Associate Dean Elaine Romanelli and the outgoing SGA and ESGA presidents to recognize the accomplishments of students, faculty, and staff. MBA students were asked to nominate those they believed should be presented with the 2014-15 MBA awards.

Matthew L. Cypher, professor of the practice and director of the Steers Center for Global Real Estate, received the Ronald L. Smith Distinguished Service Award for his service to the MBA class by going above and beyond to support student academic and professional success.

Bardia Kamrad, professor of operations and information management, was presented the MBA Excellence in Teaching Award for exhibiting excellence in teaching both in and out of the classroom and exemplifying a true commitment to student learning.

Jenna Balkus was granted the Daniel Walker McNeal award, which is given each year to a graduating student who best exemplifies the finest characteristics of a successful Georgetown MBA.
